Different Roles. Practical Tasks.
I run a cross-border e-commerce business with just three people, and we could never keep up with customer messages. After the course, I followed the instructor’s approach and set up Workbuddy with our frequently asked questions. It now handles the first round of more than 80% of buyer enquiries, and I only deal with the rest. I can finally get a full night’s sleep.
I work in training center administration and used to be buried in questions like “When is the class?” and “Can I take today off?” After learning to build a consultation Workbuddy and connect it to WeChat, it can answer basic questions from students and parents and remind them of class times. I used to reply after work; evenings are much quieter now.
After three years at home looking after my child, I wanted to do something but did not know where to start. I built a match-three game with the course, and my child loved it. After I posted it on WeChat Moments, two other mothers asked whether I could make birthday-party games for them. It became my first freelance project, which felt really rewarding.
I have been coding for two years and have always wanted to make my own games, but work drained my energy. This course walked through the whole path from an idea to launch. I built three games along the way and recently shared one on social media. My friends’ feedback made me feel this is something I can keep pursuing.
After more than ten years in procurement, month-end reconciliation and reports were my least favorite tasks. Since taking the AI office course, I let AI handle a first pass of spreadsheet processing and summaries, then check the results myself. A monthly report that used to take half a day now takes less than two hours. I use the time saved to visit suppliers.
Everyone brings miscellaneous work to me: weekly reports, event proposals and promotional copy. I wished there were 48 hours in a day. The biggest change after the course was getting into the habit of letting AI draft first and then revising. I draft proposals twice as fast now, and my manager has noticed the improvement.
The most tiring part of administration is repeatedly writing notices, policies and meeting notes. After learning to build my own reusable template library with Doubao, I can usually finish this writing within half an hour, with more formal wording than I would struggle to produce myself. A younger colleague in our department has asked me to teach her the method.
I initially worried that AI-generated writing would not be useful in government work. The course used official-document scenarios and showed us step by step how to give instructions and adjust the tone. I now ask it to outline notices and reports before adding the actual facts myself. It is much faster and needs fewer revisions.
I am practically the only person handling township publicity: the WeChat account, briefings and all kinds of summaries fall to me. Since the public-sector AI course, I no longer have to start every draft from scratch. For event briefings, photos and key points can produce a workable starting draft in a few minutes. That is how I got through the year-end summaries.
I had wanted to use AI to make the factory more efficient for a long time, but did not know where to begin. The advisory service first helped me work through our sales follow-up and after-sales support processes, then implemented several useful tools. Staff were willing to try them. The money was well spent—much better than struggling on my own for another six months.
I have run a beauty salon for five years, relying on WeChat Moments and referrals for new customers. My biggest takeaway was learning to write posts and follow-up messages that do not sound like obviously fake advertising. Last month I used the course methods for a round of follow-ups, and noticeably more returning customers came in for treatments.
The hardest part of leading a team is helping new staff start customer conversations. I used the course’s follow-up scripts and cadence to train new hires, with AI also helping organize customer tags and follow-up records. Over two months, our team booked more property viewings and new-hire turnover fell a little.
